1. Students study within the period as stated above.
2. Students register to study completely following the curriculum.
3. Students pass English language test according to the announcement of university.
4. Students pass Qualifying Examination (QE) in order to have right to present their dissertation/thesis proposal.
5. Thesis proposal has been approved by a committee appointed by the university.
6. Thesis submission and final oral examination by a committee appointed by the university which must consist of experts from within and outside the university and must be an open system for interested people to listen.
7. Research work.
The thesis work or part of the thesis must be published or at least accepted for publication in a quality national or international journal in accordance with the announcement of the Higher Education Commission on criteria for consideration of academic journals for the dissemination of academic works and comply with one of the following criteria:
(i) At least 2 research papers have been published or accepted for publication in journals listed in the ISI database or Web of Science or SJR level Q1 – Q3.
(i) At least 1 research paper is published or accepted for publication in journals listed in the ISI database or Web of Science or SJR level Q1 – Q3 and
(ii) At least 2 research papers are published or accepted for publication in an academic journal listed in an international database i.e., SCOPUS or SJR database.
(i) At least 1 research paper is published or accepted for publication in journals listed in the ISI database or Web of Science or SJR level Q1 – Q3,
(ii) At least 1 research paper is published or accepted for publication in an academic journal listed in an international database i.e., SCOPUS or SJR database, and
(iii) At least 1 research paper is published or accepted for publication in academic journals or presented to international academic conferences that provide proceedings with external peer reviews (Peer Review) before publication and recognized in the field.

5. The average of overall GPA is not less than 3.00.
6. Students pass Qualifying Examination (QE).
